About Department
Department of Vascular Surgery
Modern diagnostics and surgical treatment of vascular diseases
The Department of Vascular Surgery performs operations for diseases of the arteries and veins, including reconstructive, endovascular, and hybrid interventions.
Diagnostics, treatment, and follow-up care are available within one medical center. When necessary, anesthesiologists, radiology specialists, rehabilitation specialists, and doctors from related medical fields are involved in the treatment process.
Department Facilities
The department includes:
• Operating room
• Intensive care unit
• Inpatient unit with 16 rooms
• Procedure room
• Dressing room
We use modern diagnostic capabilities, including echocardiography, multislice computed tomography, angiography, and Doppler ultrasound, for comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of arterial and venous pathologies of the lower limbs, as well as life-threatening complications. The team of our center includes leading vascular surgeons of Uzbekistan, who regularly undergo professional training and have experience working in leading clinics in Europe and the United States, recognized as leaders in this field.
Operations are performed using various techniques: open surgery, minimally invasive access, and endovascular methods. The use of a C-arm X-ray system in the operating room creates the conditions for performing hybrid surgical interventions on the thoracic and abdominal aorta, as well as peripheral arteries.
When to Seek Medical Consultation
A consultation may be recommended if symptoms indicate impaired arterial or venous circulation:
