October 21 — Uzbek Language Day!

Our native language is more than just a means of communication. It reflects the centuries-old history, rich culture, national values, and spiritual heritage of our people. On October 21, 1989, the Uzbek language was granted official state language status. This historic milestone marked an important step in preserving and strengthening Uzbekistan’s national identity.
