AKFA Medline University Hospital Strengthens Cooperation with Kazakhstan in Medical Tourism.
As part of the international Health Tourism Partnership Experience program, AKFA Medline University Hospital welcomed a delegation of medical representatives and leading tour operators from the Republic of Kazakhstan. The visit marked an important milestone in the development of international cooperation and the strengthening of partnerships in medical tourism between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
Over the course of two intensive days, the guests explored the hospital’s capabilities, modern medical infrastructure, and the organization of its diagnostic and treatment processes. A special program was prepared for the participants, including a tour of the hospital’s departments, presentations of key medical specialties, meetings with the management team and leading specialists, as well as an introduction to international standards of healthcare quality and patient safety.
Particular attention was given to medical specialties that are in high demand among international patients. The delegation received detailed information about the hospital’s capabilities in cardiology and cardiac surgery, oncology, orthopedics and traumatology, neurosurgery, urology, general surgery, transplantation, reproductive medicine, diagnostic services, and advanced medical technologies used at AKFA Medline University Hospital.
The participants highly appreciated the hospital’s advanced medical equipment, the professionalism of its healthcare professionals, the quality of service, and the comprehensive approach to supporting international patients. Particular interest was shown in the work of the International Department, which provides full coordination of treatment for patients from abroad — from the initial consultation and organization of travel to Uzbekistan to comprehensive support throughout all stages of diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation.
The program also included business meetings and negotiations focused on the prospects for developing medical tourism, exchanging experience, strengthening cooperation with tourism companies and medical representatives, and creating effective mechanisms for referring patients to Uzbekistan for medical treatment.
One of the key outcomes of the event was the signing of a partnership agreement between AKFA Medline University Hospital and representatives of Kazakhstan’s tourism industry. The agreement will serve as a foundation for long-term cooperation, increasing the flow of international patients, and implementing joint projects aimed at developing medical tourism in the region.
The signing of the agreement opens new opportunities for citizens of Kazakhstan to receive highly qualified medical care at AKFA Medline University Hospital, benefiting from advanced medical technologies, international treatment standards, and an individualized approach to every patient.
The development of international cooperation is one of the strategic priorities of AKFA Medline University Hospital. The hospital continues to actively expand its partnership network and strengthen cooperation with international healthcare institutions, insurance companies, tourism organizations, and professional medical communities, while creating highly comfortable conditions for international patients.
We sincerely thank our colleagues and partners from Kazakhstan for their trust, constructive dialogue, and interest in long-term cooperation. We are confident that the agreements reached will provide a strong foundation for new joint projects, improve access to high-quality medical care, and further strengthen the friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in the field of healthcare.
