Akfa Medline welcomed a delegation from Cleveland Clinic as part of a working visit focused on monitoring the implementation of international standards and assessing the current level of the clinic.
During the visit, the delegation closely observed the clinic’s operations and highly evaluated the quality of medical services and infrastructure. They also held meetings with patients, physicians, and the administrative team, gathering direct feedback.
Particular attention was given to key departments, including operating rooms and intensive care units, where the delegation reviewed the level of medical equipment and technical оснащение.
An important part of the visit was dedicated to reviewing Akfa Medline’s preparation for the upcoming international accreditation by Joint Commission International (JCI), including quality management processes and patient safety systems.
Following the visit, the delegation highlighted the clinic’s significant progress in implementing international standards and its strong potential for further development.
This visit serves as another confirmation of the strong partnership between Akfa Medline and Cleveland Clinic, as well as the clinic’s commitment to aligning with global healthcare standards.
Michelle Medina, MD
Pediatrics (Cleveland Clinic):
We began our collaboration with Akfa Medline last year, and this visit to Uzbekistan marks an important stage in monitoring the implementation of international medical standards. It is essential for us to see how quality, patient safety, and efficiency standards are applied in real clinical practice.
We note significant progress at the clinic and a high level of team engagement in transformation processes.
Murad Akhrorov, Chief Project Manager, Social (Akfa Medline):
This visit is not just a working meeting, but a confirmation that our partnership with Cleveland Clinic is developing in a structured and consistent manner. We are already implementing best international practices and adapting them to the local market.
In the coming years, we plan to complete the construction of a new clinic in Tashkent CAU Hospital and become one of the most advanced medical centers in the region.
