AKFA Medline and the Republican Oncology and Radiology Center Sign a Cooperation Memorandum

On October 26, 2026, representatives of AKFA Medline University Hospital and the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology held an official meeting, which concluded with the signing of a memorandum of cooperation in the field of histopathology services.

During the visit, representatives of both institutions were introduced to the laboratory’s operations, diagnostic capabilities, and laboratory testing processes. Particular attention was given to the importance of accurate diagnostics, quality standards, and the role of histopathological examinations in modern medical practice.

Histopathology plays an essential role in identifying and evaluating pathological changes in tissue, particularly in cases of suspected cancer. These examinations help medical specialists establish accurate diagnoses and make informed decisions regarding further treatment.

Throughout the meeting, the leadership teams exchanged views on opportunities for professional cooperation, improvements in diagnostic practices, and ways to strengthen collaboration between their medical specialists.

The memorandum was signed by Sedat Kaya, Director of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology, and Azimdjon Nazirjonovich Tursunkulov, General Director of AKFA Medline University Hospital.
